Description

This module will provide essential techniques for research in religious and biblical studies, including how to define a research topic, the location and effective use of research resources, the internet and research, analytical and critical skills, and writing up research. The module will provide interactive lectures and tutorials on key topics in the study of religion, including: the critical study of religion; historical criticism; postcolonialism; political analysis; reception history; and socio-scientific criticism. Additional tutorials will be designed for students taking different MA tracks.
